Rural/Metro is known locally and nationally for our ability to coordinate multiple large-scale events where specialized ambulance services are needed.

Our ambulance standby services are provided under long-term contracts with large sporting venues such as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for year-round motorsports, as well as major professional and amateur sporting events nationwide such as football, baseball, basketball and hockey.

We also contract for EMS standby services to a variety of one-day or multi-day events, including:

• State Fairs
• Concerts
• Block Parties
• Marathons
• Golf Tournaments
• Cycling Events

In addition to ambulances and personnel fully equipped and certified to respond to any type of medical emergency, in select locations Rural/Metro can provide paramedicsand emergency medical technicians on bicycles or Segways for large-scale public events where rapid access to patients can be challenging due to over-crowding.
