BUFFALO, NY (December 12, 2011) – Rural/Metro Medical Services in Western New York is proud to announce that it has received national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services for its compliance with the highest standards of EMS excellence. Rural/Metro is the only pre-hospital care provider in Western New York to successfully complete the voluntary review process, which included completion of a comprehensive application and an on-site review by national experts in emergency medical services.

RURAL/METRO FINALIZES AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICES TO ARIZONA’S FIRST REGIONAL EMS SYSTEM

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (August 10, 2011) – Rural/Metro Corporation announced today that it has finalized a new contract in which its Southwest Ambulance subsidiary will provide exclusive emergency ambulance transportation services to Arizona’s first Regional Emergency Transportation System (RETS). The City of Mesa, Town of Gilbert, Town of Queen Creek and Apache Junction Fire District comprise the newly formed EMS region.
